Instructor Training Camp.

The ATA is constantly growing and is always in need of new certified instructors.  Several of the Maine schools have staff that are trained and authorized to train new instructors.  Depending on their level of training they may also be eligible to award one or more of the three levels of certification in school; however this is typically done at Regional Certification Camps overseen by the ATA's Instruction Department.

Students ages 13 and up are eligible to complete level 1 certification, allowing them to teach classes under direct supervision, and level 2 certification, allowing them to teach classes unsupervised in another instructor's school.  Students over 18 having completed first degree black belt (minimum) are eligible to complete level 3 certification, allowing them to apply to operate an ATA-licensed school.

Key Benefits

  • Forms an excellent basis for other education careers.
  • Excellent Job Opportunities in locations Nationally and World-wide.
  • Combined with the ATA Business training, allows the student to work towards owning their own school.
